I learned this while stationed in the Flemish part of Belgium, in a village called Sint-Hubrechtslille. So tasty good, my daughter still asks me to make it for her 10 years later!

  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 5 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
