"This pie dough recipe makes 4 single crusts. The shortening, eggs and water are mixed first, and the flour mixed in last."

Ingredients :

• 6 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon salt
• 3 cups shortening
• 2 eggs
• 1 tablespoon vinegar
• 10 tablespoons cold water
• 1 tablespoon white sugar

Instructions :

Prep : 10M	Cook : 24M	Ready in : 40M

• In a large bowl, combine shortening, sugar, eggs, salt, vinegar and water. Mix until smooth. Stir in the flour until just combined.
• Divide dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball, flatten, then wrap with plastic and refrigerate.
