Applesauce Raisin Bread |
"Quick and easy rolled oat bread."
Ingredients :
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 cup quick cooking oats
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 1 1/4 cups applesauce
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup apple juice
Instructions :

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pan.
- Soak raisins in apple juice.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, oats, and brown sugar. Add applesauce, oil, eggs, and milk; stir until just combined. Mix in raisins. Spread batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 55 to 60 minutes. Remove from pan immediately, and cool on a wire rack.
